Hearing aids
Hearing aid batteries are available from the Gwyneth Huelin Ward of the General Hospital. There is a small charge of £1.00 for six batteries. The receptionist on the ward has a full selection of all the NHS hearing aid batteries.

Hearing Resource Centre
The Hearing Resource Centre has been established as a drop-in centre for the deaf and hard of hearing, and is open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. It provides new hearing aid batteries, retubing or referral to the Hospital's Audiology Department.
The Hard of Hearing and Deaf Society Social Groups meet at the Centre on Thursdays, between 10am and 12 noon and also between 7pm and 11pm.

There is also a Deaf Club at Jersey Arts Centre, which meets from 8pm to 11pm on Wednesdays. Also at the Arts Centre, a British Sign Language (BSL) evening takes place between 7.30pm and 11pm on the last Thursday of every month.
