Criteria Screen

Criteria Options
Once you have entered your date of arrival and number of nights stay along with your desired options, please click Find to search for a list of properties that match your criteria and have availability on the system. These can then be booked on-line with a credit card. If no properties match your requirements, please modify the criteria or leave them default to 'All' which will display every property indicating availability for your chosen dates.

If you wish to identify specific properties that meet your criteria without reference to availability, then please click the 'No' against Check Availability. All properties that match your criteria will be shown with the ability to view an image, a brief description, facilities and contact details.

Area 

All: Displays all properties regardless of Area.
In Town: Displays all properties in the capital of St Helier.
Out of Town: Displays all properties not in St Helier.

Grade

Registration of premises accommodating more than five adults is mandatory, however, grading is optional and premises can choose to be assessed either by the AA or the Jersey Quality Assured ( JQA) scheme. The higher the number the greater standard of accommodation.

The quality of accommodation and service is indicated by the grade: Hotels, Guest Accommodation and Self Catering 1 - 5 stars , Campsites 1 - 5 pennants.

Those premises that choose to be ungraded will continue to be inspected for registration purposes.

Location

All: Displays all properties regardless of location.
Rural: Displays all properties in a rural location.
Coastal: Displays all properties in a coastal location.

Type

All: Displays all properties regardless of Type.
Camping: Displays all Camping properties.
Guest Houses: Displays all Guest House properties.
Hotel: Displays all Hotel properties.
Self Catering: Displays all Self Catering properties.

Facilities Required

All: Displays all properties regardless of Facilities.
Selection: Select from up to 3 different facilities that will search for properties, which match your requirements in 'best fit order'.

Property Availability/Display

All properties are randomly displayed in 'best fit' order of the criteria chosen and the facilities. A maximum of 10 properties is displayed on each screen. Please click 'Next >>' for the next page of properties.

Facilities
Where facilities have 'matched' against a property this will be indicated with a tick?. Those facilities that have not been 'matched' will be indicated with a cross .

Special Offer
This is the amended lead-in rate per person per night that will apply to some accommodation types shown on the Room Entry screen. The rate indicated is based on the first nights accommodation - subsequent nights may be different. Some rooms carry supplements for Sea Views and Balconies and single occupancy etc. Self Catering Apartments are priced per room per night.
The exact cost breakdown is shown on the Customer Details screen once all guests have been allocated to the rooms required.

PPPN
This is the normal public lead-in Bed & Breakfast rate per person per night that will apply to some accommodation types shown on the Room Entry screen. The rate indicated is based on the first nights accommodation - subsequent nights may be different. The minimum number of Doubles, Twins, Family and Single rooms available.

Room Entry Screen

All rooms are en-suite (private facilities) unless otherwise indicated.

Room Types:
Double - Double bed, maximum 2 adults + extra Bed for child where indicated.

Twin - 2 single beds, maximum 2 adults + extra Bed for child where indicated.

Twin/Double - Double or 2 Single beds, maximum 2 adults + Extra Bed for child where indicated.

Treble - Double and a single bed, maximum 3 adults + extra Bed for child where indicated.

Triple - 3 single beds, maximum 3 adults + extra Bed for child where indicated.

Family - A Combination of either a Double, Twin, Treble
or Triple + extra bed for child where indicated. Please
observe the room occupancy rules.

Single - Single bed, maximum 1 adult + extra bed for child
where indicated.

Rooms Required
Please enter the number of rooms required against the corresponding type observing the Room rules.

Number of Adults
Please enter the number of adults observing the Room Rules and occupancies.

Children
Please enter the number of children in the appropriate fields observing the Room Rules, occupancies and the ages of the children and infants.

Price GB£: The rate displayed is for 1 adult applicable to the corresponding room type based on the duration of the stay on a Bed & Breakfast basis. This excludes single occupancy where one adult occupies a Twin or a Double room (see below).

Single Occupancy
A number of properties will permit sole occupancy of some room types, usually Doubles and Twins. Where the minimum occupancy against these room types is shown as 1 and only one adult is booked, there is normally a single occupancy supplement applicable. The exact cost is indicated on the Customer Details screen.

Customer/Personal Details

The details of your booking are displayed. The property name, arrival/departure dates, number of rooms booked, nights, adults and children will be indicated along with the total cost of your accommodation. Please ensure the details are correct.

Personal Details
Please complete your name, address and contact details, including your STD dialling code.

Additional Information
Please indicate your approximate time of arrival at the property and any other relevant information.

Credit/Debit Card Details

The details of your booking are displayed. The property name, arrival/departure dates, contact details, number of rooms booked, nights, adults and children will be indicated along with the total cost of your accommodation. Please ensure the booking information and your personal details are correct.

Important Information

The credit/debit details you provide will act as security against the booking. The property, which you have booked, will deduct from the card, the cost of the first nights accommodation as a non-refundable deposit. There are no hidden costs or booking fees to process an on-line reservation.

Card Details

Please enter your credit card details carefully as this information is sent directly to the property you have booked. Any unauthorised credit card transactions could result in the property cancelling your reservation. (Please see Booking Confirmation below). Please also ensure you provide a credit card that the property accepts.
Please note that Jersey Tourism do not collect any monies against the credit card provided.

Booking Confirmation Screen

A booking reference number is quoted along with your booking information. Please retain this number for future reference. It is recommended, where possible, to print out a copy of the booking.

Confirmation

The full reservation details are automatically sent to the accommodation you have booked and you will normally receive acknowledgment of the booking from the property within 7 working days, depending on your arrival date. Contact by the property can either be by post, fax, telephone or e-mail. If you have not received confirmation within this time, please make contact directly with the property.
