This year's Portuguese Food Festival is moving to an exciting new venue on St Helier's Waterfront and promises to be the biggest yet. Sample the best in Portuguese cuisine at some of the many food stalls serving favourites such as espetada and picadinho. There will also be Portuguese bread and cakes. Listen to a variety of musicians including popular Portuguese singer Tony Jardim, and local bands, Run for Cover and Rockabye. Join in the karaoke competition and raffles for exciting prizes, plus there will be fairground rides. The festival opens at 18:00 on Thursday 23 August and at 12:00 for the next four days. It will close at 23:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 22:30 on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
