Spring into Nature Walk with Bob Tompkins
Print a PDF
Spring into Nature is a series of walks and talks led by Bob Tompkins, a local naturalist and member of the Trust’s Council. These walks, along the north coast of the Island are timed to watch spring unfold in all it’s glory. The lands owned and managed by the Trust will be pointed out along the way as will the insects, birds and mammals that share the habitats that make these landscapes so vitally important to preserve. This fourth walk in the series is a circular walk starting with a talk given by Arthur Lamy at Greve de Lecq Barracks. It will encompass the coastal footpaths and lanes of the area, as far as La Mare Vineyards, before turning inland and returning via bridal paths to Greve de Lecq, which will take approx 2.5hrs hours and requires a level of fitness. Booking is essential; please call the Trust office Telephone: 01534 483193 to reserve your place, numbers limited to 25. Meeting point will be given at the time of booking. All our walks are free to Trust members and £5.00 to Non-Trust members.
