British citizens and citizens of the Irish Republic do not require passports or visas to visit Jersey. Other EU citizens require only their ID cards for entry. Citizens from non-EU countries will need a passport and should check before travelling whether a visa is required.
Please note that travel providers may require photographic ID. Please check prior to your departure.
Jersey is within easy reach of the UK and the Continent by air and by sea. And when you arrive, the Island’s compact size and minimal traffic mean that most road journeys take a matter of minutes - enabling you to pack lots into a day. Regular bus services can quickly deliver walkers to their desired starting points, and taxis are in plentiful supply.
