Tourism Development Fund

The Tourism Development Fund supports public and non-profit voluntary organisations through investing in events and projects that will attract visitors to Jersey and stimulate the Tourism Industry. Over eighty projects have been supported, ranging from helping to finance infrastructure developments to supporting the establishment of sporting and cultural activities, all of which enhance the visitor experience of Jersey.

The Fund is overseen by the Tourism Development Fund Advisory Panel made up of members of the private sector. The Chairman is Peter Funk, and other members are Steve Bailey, Carol Canavan, Andy Cook, Lawrence Huggler, Melinda Isherwood, Dominic Jones, Kristina Le Feuvre and Andrew Shrimpton.

Organisations wishing to apply to the Fund should be able to demonstrate that their events or projects will bring more visitors to the Island, can attract funding from sources in addition to the Fund and be sustainable in years to come.

The previous round of applications closed on Friday 11th November. The TDF will be open for applications again during 2012.
