A Step by Step Guide to Staging an Event in Jersey
Every event is unique and varies in terms of participants, audience and size. It is easy to under-estimate just how labour intensive events can be. Many organisers plan events whilst juggling full-time jobs and other commitments and soon find that an event can take over their life.
When staging an event you only have one chance to get it right and make an impression to your intended audience. To ensure this happens, careful planning is needed from start to finish.
This guide has been formulated to help you develop your ideas and guide you through the concept, planning and implementation stage in order to ensure that your event stands out and is an enjoyable and memorable experience for visitors.

Promoting your Event
We can help promote your event on Jersey.com and possibly in the What's On publications (subject to availability and print deadlines). Please supply your event details including:
- Date(s)
- Start Time(s)
- End Time(s)
- Event Title
- Description (Max 100 words)
- URL
- Contact details (name, telephone no. & email)
- Prices (If free or to be advised, please state)
- Image (jpeg, minimum 200px wide, 201 px high)
