The Foundation was established in 1958 by the late Eric Young, a trained scientist who, even from childhood, was a gifted horticulturist. Before his untimely death he had developed one of the finest collections of orchids anywhere in the world.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful parish of Trinity and sitting within its own wonderful landscaped garden, is a nursery and display complex housing one of the world’s finest collections of orchids.
As you stroll through the display house a series of breathtaking vistas present themselves as each corner is turned. These landscapes create a heady and exotic environment in which the orchids are displayed in naturalistic settings which showcase their extravagant and compelling beauty.
