Green Lizard Project
Jersey is the only place in the British Isles with a native population of green lizards but they are increasingly under threat. Use this website to find out more about these reptiles and how you can get involved in protecting them.

The Green Lizard project has joined with the Jersey Amphibian and Reptile Group (JARG) to promote the conservation of the Island's green lizard population to ensure they remain a permanent feature of Jersey's coastal areas.
The Green Lizard Project supports the work of JARG which is comprised of members from the States of Jersey Environment Division and Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
