Sing It With Sign is a signing choir for people who may know British Sign Language (BSL) or who like to experience how to use BSL to sign a song. Signing to songs is very expressive and allows people to "feel" the song. It is also a very good way of learning new signs and can help people to remember particular signs if they are linked with a song. Using BSL to sign a song can be great fun but can also be emotional, depending on the lyrics.
The choir meets on the first and third Friday every month from 19:30 until 21:00 and the cost will be £2.00 per session. The sessions are being held at the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre, FB Fields, La Grande Route de St Clement. |
