Visitor Medical Centre
Holiday medical insurance is strongly recommended for visitors to Jersey.
Visitors or any newcomers (those who have been in Jersey less than six months) in need of medical attention should make an appointment at any of the Islands' general practice surgeries between Monday and Friday from 8.30am.
Out of office hours, visitors should attend the Accident and Emergency Department at the General Hospital in St Helier. If you are unable to attend in person and require a home visit, please contact any Jersey surgery.
Please note that for visitors from the UK, including Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, there will be no charge, except for any prescription issued. Those from all other countries, however, will have to pay a fee. You will be advised of this by the surgery at the time of appointment.
Provision for visitors requiring dialysis is made throughout the year at:
The General Hospital Renal Unit
Gloucester Street
St. Helier
