JerseyLink Terms and Conditions

All reservations booked on-line are subject to the Trading Terms and Conditions of the property booked. These Conditions will be sent directly to you by the property with the acknowledgement of the reservation. Bookings will be acknowledged by the property either by letter, phone, fax or e-mail and you should normally receive acknowledgment within 7 days where applicable. Once a booking has been made, any future correspondence, queries or amendments should be handled directly with the property.

The on-line reservation system has approximately 70% of all registered properties who manage their own availability and pricing, which is 'real time information'. Any properties indicating availability can be booked with a credit card as security (see item 3).

There are no hidden costs or booking fees to process an on-line reservation.

Credit Cards

To secure a reservation it is necessary to provide a credit card number as security. The credit card information is not authorised on-line and is only captured to forward on to the property that has been booked. The property will deduct from the credit card the cost of the first nights accommodation, which will be treated as a non-refundable deposit. JerseyLink (Jersey Tourism) collect no monies from the credit card. In the event of a credit card being declined, the property booked reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

The Jersey Tourism web site encrypts your data ensuring protection and confidentiality (See Privacy Policy).

Confirmation

Once an on-line reservation has been made and a reference number quoted, the details are automatically sent to the property booked. The property will then make contact directly with you to acknowledge receipt of the reservation and to confirm their Trading Terms & Conditions.

Amendments

Any alterations to an existing reservation processed through the on-line system must be made directly with the property booked. It is not possible to amend or modify bookings on-line.

Cancellations

If it is necessary for you to cancel the booking, then this must be done directly with the property concerned. Please remember that the cost of the first nights accommodation taken from your credit card is treated as non-refundable.

Transportation

As a non-refundable deposit is required to secure a reservation, it is recommended that any travel arrangements to the island be secured before proceeding with an on-line booking. Please see Travel and Packages.

Insurance

It is recommended that you obtain appropriate insurance cover, to ensure you are covered for any unexpected delays, cancellations, medical costs, loss of money or belongings and personal liability claims etc.
