Hearing Aids

Hearing Aid batteries are available from Reception at the General Hospital, The Parade, St Helier. A full selection of NHS hearing aid batteries is available at a small charge.

Hearing aid batteries are available from the Gwyneth Huelin Ward of the General Hospital. There is a small charge of £1.00 for six batteries. The receptionist on the ward has a full selection of all the NHS hearing aid batteries.

Hearing Resource Centre

The Hearing Resource Centre has been established as a drop-in centre for the deaf and hard of hearing, and is open Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00. It provides new hearing aid batteries, retubing or referral to the Hospital's Audiology Department.

The Hard of Hearing and Deaf Society Social Groups meet at the Centre on Thursdays, between 10:00 and 12:00 and also between 19:00 and 23:00.
