Shopmobility is a scheme widely available in the UK where visitors can use powered wheelchairs or scooters to enable them to visit shops and places of interest.

There is a limited number of scooters which will fit in cars. All equipment will be delivered to hotels / homes without charge for overnight usage.

Powered chairs, scooters and manual-wheel chairs are available 10:00 - 16:30 Monday to Saturday, Summer Bank Holidays and Christmas shopping evenings and Sundays. Prior booking is preferred but not necessary. Full advice on the equipment will be given.
For Tourists and Non-members (i.e. temporarily disabled) the charge will be £7.00 per day for powered scooters or chairs or £4.00 per day for manual chairs or quadwalkers and that includes parking whether the person has a blue badge or not.
Those using the service can park free on the lower ground floor for an unlimited time during the opening hours of Shopmobility while they use the equipment. Full advice on the equipment will be given.
A Shopmobility scheme also operates at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Jersey War Tunnels during regular opening hours. Scooters are available to rent for £7.00, as well as wheelchairs and Zimmer frames for £4.00. Pre-booking is strongly advised.
