The area is very rocky and not really suitable for bathing except at high tide. Swimmers should take care due to the strong currents.

Unfortunately there are no refreshment facilities at La Rocque Harbour.

The rocky coast line is popular for low water fishing and children find the marine life in the rock pools an adventure playground.
