Jersey will be the most southerly stop that the torch makes as part of its trip around the British Isles. The torch convoy will travel from Bel Royal at approximately midday on 15 July, along Jersey's south coast, passing The Freedom Tree sculpture next to the Radisson Blu Hotel, around Liberty Wharf and stopping at Weighbridge Place at approximately 12:40, before finishing on Victoria Avenue alongside Lower Park.
Viewers can watch the torch on a giant screen at the Olympic Torch celebrations taking place at Weighbridge Place, between 11:00 and 15:00. There will be food stalls and some Olympic themed street theatre to keep everyone entertained.

Road Closures
On Sunday 15 July 2012 the Olympic Torch will travel from The Kiosk at Bel Royal along Victoria Avenue and the Promenade, Route de Port Elizabeth, over the Underpass, along Route de Liberation onto Weighbridge Square and turning back along the Esplanade over the Underpass towards Victoria Avenue.
All these roads will be affected between 12:00 and approximately 13:45.
No Parking Areas
- No Parking outside the Pomme d’Or Hotel from 07:00 until 15:00
- No Parking in Wharf Street from 07:00 until 15:00
- No Parking Mulcaster Street/Weighbridge Place from 07:00 until 18:00. (Taxi’s permitted only from 11:00 until 16:00)
Laybys Closed
Layby four will be closed from 18:00 Saturday 14th July until Sunday 15th at 15:00.
Layby seven the last ten spaces at the exit there will be no parking
The Kiosk parking area as you enter the from the East ten spaces will be closed off between 09:00 until 15:00.
Roads Closed
Victoria Avenue, Bel Royal to West Park 12:00 until approximately 12:45.
Victoria Avenue, First Tower to West Park 13:15 until approximately 13:45.
Esplanade from Conway Street to Castle Street closed from 12:00 to 14:00.
Weighbridge Place closed from 11:00 until 15:00.
Le Route de la Liberation slip road to the Pomme d’Or Hotel closed from 12:00 to 14:00.
Wharf Street from 11:00 the direction of traffic flow will be changed so that traffic will be able to exit onto Conway Street until 15:00.
Additional Parking
St Andrews Park/First Tower park is going to be open for cars to park from 15:00 Saturday 12th July until Sunday 15th July at 16:00. Entry and exit via Hansford lane which is off St Aubin’s Inner Road.
Buses
Liberation Station - buses arriving and departing from the West will not be affected, Buses returning from the East will terminate at Grenville Street from 12:00 until 15:00.
Taxis
The Taxis at Weighbridge Place is going to be out of use from 11:00 until 15:00. A temporary taxi rank will operate from Mulcaster Street. Library Place and Snow Hill taxi ranks will operate as normal throughout the day.
