Gorey Watersports Centre

Gorey Watersports is on the beach of the Royal Bay of Grouville, overlooked by magnificent Mont Orgueil Castle. We have water skiing, wakeboarding, banana rides, ocean kayaks, speed boat trips for the whole family and self-drive motor dinghy hire. Dad can be Captain! All equipment and tuition is provided.

Tarka Sea Trips

Offering the finest sea fishing and charter boat experience in the Channel Islands. Our vessel Theaseus II, Captained by David Nuth, is an Interceptor 38 Powered by Scania D12 Turbo Diesel, MCA 60-Mile Licence. Fully equipped with the latest safety specifications. All Year round 24 Hours, weather permitting. Maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Latest navigational and fish finding equipment. Examples of our fishing trips can be found on our website, though these can be varied, according to meet your requirements. Theseus II has full wheelchair access, and plenty of deck space on board for 12 people, we can cater for your needs, not just fishing. Why not try our corporate package for team building, or client entertainment.

Jet Ski Adventure

Escorted evening coastal trips by jet ski, from the Jersey Sea Sport Centre, by St.Aubin's village, going westwards along the coast and returning after about 1 1/2 hours.  All equipment will be provided, bring a camera (preferably waterproof !) towel and change of clothes for later. All tours start at 18.00 unless otherwise arranged. Cost is £70 for 1 person on 1 jet ski, extra £30 for a passenger, with a minimum of 3 jet skis- 3 riders, maximum of 6 jetskis-12 riders. Why not organise a trip for a group of your friends,as this promises to be a unique experience!

Island Rib Voyages

Explore the local waters and experience the wildlife and scenery Jersey and the surrounding islands have to offer, whilst aboard our purpose built Rigid Inflatable Boat. Try your hand at fishing on the Ecrehous, or cycling in Sark or perhaps a lunch visit to Carteret. Suitable for adults and children.

Active Island Sports

Active Island Sports provides friendly, qualified watersports instruction and equipment hire. Jonathan and the team also run weekly summer camps for 10-15 year olds. May – September. Age 6+

Jersey Sea Sport Centre

The Jersey Sea Sport Centre, (established 1983) at La Haule slip, just before St Aubin's village, has Jet skiing from age 12+, wakeboarding (the latest craze, like snowboarding on water!) waterskiing, banana rides, speedboat trips and ocean kayaks with wetsuits and equipment provided. A British Water Ski Federation approved ski school and BWSF Sports boat driving centre licensed by the Jersey Maritime Authorities. Closes at the end of September. Groups and parties welcome. All the great watersports rolled into fun!

Laneez Surf School & Shop

Laneez, Jersey’s original surf school, is a beautiful retro-style surf shop situated alongside the popular El Tico Beach cantina. Perfectly located in the centre of St Ouen’s Bay, next door to the RNLI life guard headquarters , we are a firm favourite with the locals. So, whether you would like to have a lesson, or just hire a board, we will offer you the most competitive rates on the beach. You can select a board from our extensive selection to suit your level. We take all abilities, right up to competitive level surfing. You will be learning privately, or in a small group, with our highly qualified instructors who are very experienced. For those of you who enjoy a touch of luxury alongside your adrenaline rush, we are pleased to be able to offer you a private changing room by our showers.

Jersey Kayak Adventures

Discover sea kayaking. Experience the beauty and tranquillity of a sea kayak tour around Jersey’s stunning coastline. With our fleet of modern, user-friendly sit-on-top kayaks or sit inside ‘traditional’ sea kayaks reach remote beaches, explore cliffs, caves and see wildlife. Explore the hidden beauty of Jersey.

Jersey Kayak Adventures operates from venues island wide. Tours vary from a couple of hours to whole days, e.g. “Mothership” supported offshore kayak tours to Les Ecrehous or Les Minquiers reefs, Sark and Chausey. Sit-on-top and Sea kayak courses and coaching.

British Canoe Union and Adventuremark approved centre. Green Tourism and Ecoactive Silver awards. Wild Life Safe (WiSe) trained guides.

No previous kayaking experience is needed. Daily tours are suitable for all ages and abilities including complete beginners. Families with young children are welcome.
