Shopping gets even more special around the year with Jersey’s programme of Farmers’ Markets and one-off shopping events, turning the island’s town squares and harbours into backdrops for bustling village-style markets where you can pick up some unique Jersey produce, as well as enjoy live street entertainment.

From fresh organic produce to home made preserves, local growers and craftsmen set up beautifully decorated stalls for you to explore at your leisure. Take time to stroll through the market, pick up some locally designed crafts or unique hand crafted home accessories from Jersey artists, and enjoy an al fresco supper to the sound of live music.

Central Market, St Helier

The Central Market has long been a source of pride to the people of Jersey. Between them, the 36 market stalls cover almost every retail experience – everything from antiques to flowers, fresh vegetables to jewellery. If you can’t find what you want here then you have to ask the question: do you really need it?

The more modern Beresford Market (or Fish Market as it is more commonly known) is justly popular for its high-quality produce and the atmosphere generated by its hard-working fishmongers.
