Wander through the isolated private woods of Grève de Lecq and up to the winding green lanes of St Mary, past granite farms and cod houses, to the wind swept cliffs of the north coast. Spectacular views of the other islands and occasionally the French coast await as you return past the old militia shooting grounds and the ancient hill fort back to the bay, where you may wish to have a well deserved leisurely lunch, afternoon tea or just an ice cream

Enjoy a colourful ramble down the old coffin route which leads into a mysterious valley where you can visit one of Jersey’s unseen private gardens full of the joys of spring.  Wander along peaceful country lanes discovering fascinating bygones of Jersey’s farming heritage and some beautiful granite farmhouses. As we return, reward yourself with a welcome drink, at your own expense, in the British Union Inn opposite the picturesque parish church of St Lawrence.
