Her Majesty The Queen only sends messages for 60th (Diamond), 65th and 70th (Platinum) wedding anniversaries and then every year thereafter.
Her Majesty does not send a message for 25th (Silver), 40th (Ruby) or 50th (Golden) wedding anniversaries.
The delivery of these messages is arranged by the Anniversaries Office, part of the Private Secretary's Office in the Royal Household, based at Buckingham Palace.
There is no automatic alert from Jersey States records office for wedding anniversaries. To arrange for a celebratory message to be sent for wedding anniversaries, you should contact us by email or letter 4 weeks before the special day.
For wedding anniversaries, your email / letter must include the following details:
- a copy of the celebrants' wedding certificate
- cover note from the applicant with the celebrants' full names, type of anniversary, date of anniversary and their present address
- contact details of applicant, including name, address and phone number
It is possible to receive a belated message up to 6 months after the event.
