Meet 'Dave Cornthwaite' aka the Yes Man - he embodies the essence of life based on testing and teasing the boundaries of his comfort zone. Best known for quitting his job to break the Guinness World Record for the longest journey by skateboard. Dave has embarked on many expeditions since. He has enthusiasm for adventure, led by instinct- rather than Google Maps. We invited Dave to get lost in the island break.

Day One 19:00 - Enjoy the golden hour

Join us for a sunset

You can fly to Jersey in and around 45-minutes which means you can touch down after work on a Friday night and join locals for the golden hour. Take a seat, grab a local ale and enjoy the view from El Tico Beach Cantina on the west coast. Enjoy a chilled friendly vibe, perfect for sharing good times with friends and family.

Day Two 07:00 - Rise & shine

Fuel up at the Central Markets

Taste the real Jersey and make a stop at one of the Market’s food stalls to pick up supplies for your morning adventure. The Central Markets are an integral part of Jersey’s heritage and a source of pride for many Islanders. The local markets have served the community for over 200 years. 

08:00 - Cycle east to west

Saddle up and enjoy the ride.

Jersey is a cyclist’s paradise. A perfect mild climate and varied terrain makes blazing a trail around the island a pure joy. Steep climbs and exhilarating drops that work their way through wooded valleys open out to smooth strips of cycle-friendly highways set against the breath-taking backdrop of our windswept coast.

11:00 - Refresh in the fresh sea air

Grab a surfboard and take on the Atlantic breakers!

With miles of sand washed by rolling Atlantic waves, the magnificent St. Ouen’s Bay is a natural playground for surfers and adrenaline seekers. Join the Splash Surf School as their professional and friendly team get you set to take on Jersey's most consistent and famous surf break located in front of The Watersplash.

12:30 - Savour an authentic taste of Jersey

Taste the freshness of local seafood

You'll find the ‘Vivier’ by Faulkner Fisheries nestled inside an old WW2 German bunker at L’Etacq in St. Ouen. This independent and family owned merchant is renowed for serving up the 'catch of the day' perfect to either take away, or if the sun is shining they'll cook it up for you on their BBQ. This really is a location to enjoy seafood served with a side of seaview :) 

14:00 - Unlock nature's larder with a foraging experience

Take a stroll down the board walk

Discover one of the island's most iconic coastal buildings, The Lido at Havre Des Pas it sits out on its own man-made island, connected to the shore by a wooden board walk. The Lido offers unique waterside beach dining. The art-deco architecture, white and blue colour palate and the 360° surroundings of the sea makes The Lido a location that you will never forget.

22:00 - Stay at Durrell Wildlife Camp

Rewild yourself at Jersey Zoo

Wake up in the wild with luxury camping in the grounds of Durrell Wildlife Camp at Jersey Zoo - the wildlife park that was founded in 1959 by writer and conservationist Gerald Durrell. Camp out in luxury in geodesic domes and doze off to the gentle sounds of rare golden lemurs and tamarins.
