Jersey welcomes the British & Irish Lions

The pride come to the island break.

Get ready to roar with pride as The British & Irish Lions touch down in the island break this summer. The squad are heading to Jersey to tackle a training camp in preparation for their eagerly anticipated 2021 South African Tour.

A roaring welcome.

We're raring to welcome The British & Irish Lions this June. The squad will spend two weeks getting match fit in the island break ahead of the main event in South Africa later this year. The squad will roar into the island break for a training camp at the brand new, state of the art Strive facility where they’ll beast it, sharpening their set piece, polishing their penalties and refining their rucking.

Jersey is perfectly positioned to welcome global sporting events where athletes can train, compete, and rebalance in a wild island retreat. With world class sporting facilities, breathtaking beaches and food that feeds the soul, any athlete, elite or mortal is spoilt for choice. And the best bit? Jersey is part of the UK's Common Travel Area.

We feel like we’ve scored a try. We can’t wait to welcome the team in June to help them get ready to roar on the tour and hunt down that win.

Meet the Lions

Hear it from the Lions' mouth.

'The Jersey welcome has been absolutely fabulous' - the squad’s elite coaching team share their thoughts about why they’re looking forward to ‘an awesome experience’ on the island in June. From the beaches, boating, restaurants, surfing and visiting the sites of the island, the team are eager to experience Jersey and be part of it all. That's when they're not hard at work training for the tour of course. Speaking of training, how about getting in on the action? If you were lucky enough to grab one of the 1000's of free places you'll soon be able to watch the Lions as they are put to work getting match fit. So take to the stands and roar the team along.
