Battery Lothringen
Open every Sunday, explore the remarkable, multi-level restored M-132 Underground Command Bunker, the MP1 Tower, and numerous additional bunkers within this German WWII Naval Coastal Artillery Battery, along with a wide range of onsite fortifications. Browse the book and militaria shop, and enjoy a hands-on experience with authentic WWII equipment.

The Battery had four 15cm SKL/45 guns that were installed on elevated platforms. Starting from Gun #1 you can follow a series of paths around the site and explore many of the open bunkers. When you reach the south cliff side, you will find the MP-1 Naval Artillery Direction and Range-finding Tower and the top of the M-132 Underground Command Bunker.

Entry fees: The exterior area of the site is free to visit DAILY but you can explore the interior of this impressive fortification on SUNDAYS for only £8 for adults and FREE for under 16s and CIOS Members.
