In the kitchen of Hamptonne House meet William the Steward, who looks after the house of his master, Monsieur Laurens Hamptonne in the year of 1649. William will regale you with tales of the agricultural life of Jersey's yesteryear. Hamptonne Country Life Museum gives the visitor a unique insight into the rural life carried on in Jersey for centuries. Dating back to the 15th Century, the house and farm are brought to life with characters from the island's past. This event is free for JH members.

Location

Near Three Oaks, St. Lawrence at the top of Waterworks Valley. Entrance and parking: the carpark is a short walk from Hamptonne. If catching a bus, Hamptonne is signposted and is a five-minute walk along country lanes.
