About

In 1769, protestors forced their way into the Royal Court and demanded lower wheat prices and fairer government. This exhibition marks the 250th anniversary of the legal reforms that came about as a result of that action. How has the right to protest shaped and influenced the island we know today, from the ancient legal right of the clameur de haro to the Black Lives Matter demonstrations of 2020?
