La Mare Wine Estate & Distillery Tours
La Mare's Tours and Tastings are now back for 2023. La Mare’s guided Tour & Tasting Experiences offer the perfect insight into the workings of a busy coastal estate. Walk through the vines and go behind the scenes of their winery where guests will learn about the history of the estate and La Mare’s field-to-glass story while enjoying tastings of their red, white and rose wines. There's also the option to upgrade to a premium tasting experience which offers a spirit with a mixer or a glass of sparkling wine to savour at the end of the tour. Tour guests also have the chance to see La Mare’s busy production kitchen and enjoy bites of their delicious estate-made fudge, chocolate and legendary Jersey Black Butter. Open every day from 10am to 5pm with tours up to 6 times a day.

Situated in the peaceful countryside of St. Mary, but less than 30 minutes from the bustling town centre, the estate and vineyards are the perfect place to get away from it all and unwind.
With acres of vines to explore, wine tasting and distillery tours to join as well as the beautiful Vineyard Café, La Mare is the perfect place to while away the day with a relaxing lunch, Jersey cream tea or a refreshing glass of wine by the vines.
The Behind-the-Scenes Tour and Tasting leads experts and novices alike through the vines, the winery and distillery where you will learn about the history of the estate and La Mare’s field-to-glass story while enjoying tastings of our red, white and rose wines and Jersey Cream Liqueur. You will also see their production kitchen and enjoy a tasting of estate-made fudge, chocolate and their famous Jersey Black Butter.
You can upgrade your tour for an extra £4 to include a premium tasting experience which offers a spirit with a mixer or La Mare sparkling wine to enjoy at the end of the tour. Choose one to enjoy from our range of vodka, gins, brandy or sparkling wine.
Children are welcome on tours (under tens go free) and will receive an apple juice instead of wine. There is also a playground with lots of safe space to play and a Treasure Hunt around the vines to keep active minds engaged with a chocolate prize for completed entries.
