The setting for most locals’ sunset pictures - St. Ouen’s Bay is stunning any time of day, but comes into its own at the golden hour just before sunset. Wow your followers with a shot from Le Braye slip where Rocco Tower is silhouetted by the sun.

An only-in-Jersey experience, taste Jersey ice cream in the place where Jersey cows are from. It’ll look great in your feed (and taste great too). And if you’re heading into the countryside, get a picture of this friendly local breed up close - these Jersey girls are just too cute.

Rare animals and birds up close are a photographer’s dream. Fill your feed with orangutans, gorillas, flamingos and cheeky meerkats in this wildlife conservation zoo started by Gerald Durrell.

Nothing guarantees a double tap like food porn. So up your envy-rating with a top-down shot from Michelin-starred Bohemia, voted this year as one of the top 15 restaurants in the UK. More of a sweet tooth? ‘Afternoon tea’ at Bohemia is guaranteed to add some psychedelic colour to your feed.

Every now and again your feed needs a cocktail shot. You know it’s true. So head to up and coming hotspot Project 52 for an urban bohemian bar with superb cocktails and insta-friendly bar staff. Use the statement walls as a backdrop…

Rozel Village with its painted fishermens’ cottages and harbourside boats is particularly photogenic. Choose a sunny day to catch the pastel colours at their best, and don’t forget to make your followers super jealous with a shot of The Hungry Man’s famous ‘Double Decker Health Wrecker’ burgers, served harbourside.

Get up early and catch the morning light at Gorey with Mont Orgueil as a backdrop - get the timings right and you can catch the sun’s rays over this 12th century castle. And if you’re feelIng energetic - climb the more than 100 steps to the towering castle top for sky high views across to France.
