Barclays Jersey Boat Show

The Barclays Jersey Boat Show, the Channel Islands’ biggest free event, is back once again! Even if you’re not a boating enthusiast, this 3-day event has lots to offer, including live music, food stalls, and fun activities for the whole family. You’ll also discover an impressive fleet of yachts and watercraft. If you’re visiting Jersey for the May bank holiday, the Barclays Jersey Boat Show is not to be missed.
Liberation Day

You are invited to soak up the festivities on Liberation Day, Jersey’s national day. On 09 May 1945, Jersey was freed from Nazi occupation, and each year islanders and visitors alike come together to mark the momentous occasion with music, dancing, and fabulous food. The celebrations are based around Liberation Square in St. Helier, with plenty of great hotels within walking distance if you want to stay in the heart of the action.

Whether you choose to walk solo or with friends and family, we’ll be cheering you on all the way.
Not taking part in the event but still keen to explore Jersey’s stunning coastline? The Jersey Tidal Trail is the perfect alternative, guiding you around the island’s shoreline and showcasing dramatic cliffs, hidden bays and ever-changing sea views.
Battle of Flowers
14 – 15 August 2026
Jersey’s iconic floral festival is returning to Victoria Avenue! Marvel at all the amazing floats, enjoy great food and drink, and get a real taste of Jersey summer. On the evening of 15 August, a beautiful moonlight parade marks the end of a weekend of fun. The event is now free to enter.

Corn Riots Harvest Festival

The Corn Riots Harvest Festival is another cultural event you should mark on your calendar! Every September, the Royal Square in St. Helier comes alive with historical re-enactments and family-friendly activities with a focus on our traditional language, Jèrriais. The festival commemorates the Corn Riots of 1769, when citizens fought the unfair systems of the time, resulting in government reform.
Jersey International Air Display

Some of the world’s most skilled pilots will take to the skies for the Jersey International Air Display once again in 2026. Watch in awe as military and civilian aircraft perform nail-bitingly precise manoeuvres and breathtaking stunts over St. Aubin’s Bay.
