Day 1
Your picture perfect beach day
The first day of your trip takes you to St. Brelade’s Bay on Jersey’s south coast. Loved by locals and visitors alike, this pristine bay is paradise for anyone seeking a picture-perfect seaside holiday that nourishes the senses.
Start your day with a gentle walk from St. Brelade’s Bay to neighbouring Ouaisné Bay – accessible via the beach when the tide is out, or via a picturesque coastal path over the headland. Grab a coffee-to-go from Solshine Café or La Brise before setting off on your stroll. If you go via the coastal path, take a seat on the bench at the highest point, facing out to sea. Drink in the fresh sea air and admire the dramatic, sweeping views of the bay. Once you reach Ouaisné, take some time to soak up the beach’s peaceful atmosphere before making your way back to St. Brelade’s Bay.
With the morning now in full swing, St. Brelade’s Bay will have come to life. Although this stunning beach is one of the island’s most popular, with restaurants, bars and kiosks lining the pretty promenade, you’ll never find it overcrowded, meaning you can take your pick of sunbathing spots. Once you’ve made yourself at home, relax with a good book or take some holiday snaps; the view is too good not to capture on camera, and you’ll make everyone back home green with envy!
Feeling hungry? With several excellent restaurants right here in St. Brelade’s Bay, you can go from lazing on the beach to dining in style in seconds. Choose the restaurant that speaks to your soul and enjoy a lunch made with fresh local produce, with a huge helping of friendly service and idyllic sea views.
Now that you’ve refuelled, it’s time to relax once more. Take your pick of spa treatments at St. Brelade’s Bay Hotel or L’Horizon Beach Hotel. You’ll be left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
St. Brelade’s Bay may be famous for its breathtaking beach, but it’s also home to a beautiful park that’s just waiting for you to explore. Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Park has lush green gardens and offers a steep walking route up through woodland if you’re looking for a challenge. If not, this peaceful park has plenty of spots where you can relax and feel zen, whether it’s beneath a tree or next to a waterfall. Take some time to let the park envelop you in a sense of calm, before heading back to your accommodation to freshen up in time for dinner.

Day 2
Get your dose of vitamin sea
Today you’ll get the chance to explore two very different bays; vast, sweeping St. Ouen’s Bay, and enchanting Plémont Bay.
Check the tide times before heading up to Plémont Bay on Jersey’s northwest coast. When the tide is low, a world of rock pools, sea caves, and even a freshwater waterfall is revealed. This unique, sandy cove is great for exploring solo, but keep in mind there’s only a small window of time to do so before the tide comes back in and hides its treasures once more…
When the tide starts to come in, traverse back up the steps to Plemont Bay Café. The café serves a great all-day menu and has fabulous sea views too – perfect for enjoying a spot of lunch or some homemade cake before continuing on your way.
Your next stop is St. Ouen’s Bay, Jersey’s surfing hotspot on the west coast. The bay is five miles long and offers a range of things to do, so take your pick! Try blokarting, kitesurfing or windsurfing, or have a good old fashioned surf lesson at Laneez Surf Centre. You are in the home of one of Europe’s oldest surfing clubs, after all. If you’d prefer, simply stroll along the bay, soaking up the carefree atmosphere and admiring local landmarks such as Le Don Hilton, a striking 18th-century guardhouse.
When hunger strikes, pay a visit to one of the restaurants or diners in the bay. El Tico, Le Braye, The Watersplash and Sands all have al fresco seating so you can keep the beachy vibes alive while you dine. If you’re in the mood for some entertainment with your meal, you may find that some of these eateries have live musical performances.
If you want to see an incredible sunset, St. Ouen’s Bay is the place to be. Whether you’ve finished your meal and are enjoying an after-dinner tipple with friends, or you’ve decided to take a seat somewhere along the bay, get ready for nature to put on a show and paint the sky with vibrant colours to finish the day off beautifully.
Day 3
Soak in some history with your beach swim
Spend the final day of this peaceful break at the Royal Bay of Grouville, also known as Long Beach, under the watchful eye of the majestic Mont Orgueil Castle.
Start the day with a delicious beachside breakfast at The Hungry Whale or Rhona’s Café, before dipping your toes in the sea. The water here is calm and sheltered, so it’s perfect for sea swimming.
Take some time to stroll the length of the beach, or simply sit on the golden sand, and reflect on your peaceful weekend away. Watch as fishing boats and sailboats bob along in the water. You may even spot oyster farmers hard at work further across the bay.
There’s just enough time to visit charming Gorey Pier. As you explore this sleepy fishing village, you’ll find independent boutiques like Jane James Ceramics and The Old Sail Loft, as well as a range of restaurants, such as Maddie’s at The Moorings, The Dolphin, and Feast. Pick up some unique souvenirs and indulge in one final taste of Jersey before it’s time to head home.
