Day 1
Explore the back lanes and local charm
Get into the heart of Jersey’s countryside on two wheels and meet the locals on the first day of your escape.
After a nourishing breakfast, visit one of Jersey’s cycle hire companies, where a friendly expert will help you choose the perfect set of wheels, whether it’s a mountain bike, road bike, or ebike.
Set off on an adventure. Our many cycle routes are clearly marked and take in miles of rich countryside, coastal tracks and Green Lanes, where life slows down to a gentle 15mph. Get away from the hectic buzz of city life as you weave your way through Jersey’s picturesque landscapes.
While cycling through the countryside, you’re bound to happen upon a pub or two. Take a rest stop and enjoy a hearty meal made with fresh, local produce, and say “Bouônjour!” to friendly locals.
Day 2
Relax and unwind in the countryside
Nourish your senses with a spa treatment and afternoon tea at a country house in the heart of the Jersey countryside.
Visit Greenhills Country House Hotel. Nestled in the leafy parish of St. Peter, this hotel seamlessly blends luxury with traditional Jersey charm. Have a morning coffee in their cosy lounge or out on the terrace while you wait for your spa treatment.
Wellness experts The Massage Agency offer a range of unique spa treatments at the hotel, in a beautiful, relaxing space. Whether you choose a selection of ‘tapas treatments’, reflexology or facial therapy, it’s time to switch off from the world and let your troubles melt away.
Continue your day of indulgent relaxation with afternoon tea. Greenhills Country House Hotel offers a traditional afternoon tea as well as vegan and savoury options. Enjoy this afternoon treat in the lounge, garden, or on the terrace.
Greenhills Country House Hotel is the ideal base for a scenic walk around St. Peter’s Valley. Stroll through the valley at your own pace, taking in all the delightful sights and sounds. Stop at Le Moulin de Quétivel, Jersey’s only surviving working watermill, and learn about the island’s fascinating milling history.
Have dinner at The Victoria, a friendly pub known locally as The Vic In the Valley, or continue your walk back to Greenhills Country House Hotel to dine at their restaurant.

Day 3
Bathe in nature
Connect with nature like never before with a forest bathing experience.
Join Amanda, a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, for a mindful stroll through Jersey’s countryside. Discover hidden places and hone your intuition as part of this fully-immersive sensory experience.
Head to the island’s north coast in the afternoon to take in the scenic views from the island’s incredible coastline. Wave hello to our neighbouring Channel Islands and France. Afterwards, settle in for the afternoon at one of the charming pubs that pepper the north coast. From Rozel Pub to Les Fontaines and The Priory Inn, there are plenty to choose from.
Day 4
Get lost in the botanic gardens
Experience the spectacular beauty of Jersey’s very own botanic gardens.
Travel to Samares Manor in the parish of St. Clement. Set in 14 acres of land, the site is home to many unique plant collections and features a Japanese garden, exotic planting, water gardens, seasonal gardens, a formal rose and lavender garden and one of the largest herb gardens in the UK.
Once you’ve finished exploring the beautiful gardens, look for the perfect memento at the gift shop, Jardinalia, and enjoy a light bite at Rozel Tea Room.
Visit Longueville Manor, which is a short distance from Samares Manor, and stroll through their extensive gardens and woodland before retiring to their homely cocktail bar for your favourite drink.

Day 5
Sauna in nature
Make sure you pack your swimwear and towels today, as there’s a mobile sauna waiting for you after a woodland walk.
In the east of the island you’ll find St. Catherine’s Wood. Meander along wooded paths and leafy enclaves as you explore this lovely circular route. Head off the beaten track and you’ll eventually reach St. Catherine’s Breakwater.
Stop by Breakwater Cafe or The 3 Arches for food and refreshments.
For a truly relaxing experience, book a session at Sauna Society, a mobile wood-fired sauna located right here at St. Catherine’s Breakwater. Gaze out to sea as you enjoy the transformative power of the sauna. Finish the experience with an invigorating cold plunge.
Amble your way around Gorey Pier, which is just a short bus journey away. You’ll find independent boutiques and plenty of wonderful restaurants, ready and waiting to serve you a nourishing dinner.

Day 6
Find your zen
With your island escape drawing to a close, there’s one last opportunity to nourish your body and mind in beautiful surroundings, with a day-long wellbeing retreat.
Make your way to the Frances Le Sueur Centre, which is tucked away in woodland a short distance from St. Ouen’s Bay. There you’ll meet husband-and-wife team Russ and Dana, who run Revital-ice Wellbeing. Join them for a day-long wellbeing retreat, where you’ll practice breathwork, yoga, and more.

Day 7
Dive into the unique orchid gardens in Trinity
Enjoy the final few hours of your break at a unique centre dedicated to orchids.
Put together a picnic breakfast or lunch and head to the northern parish of Trinity, home of the world-renowned Eric Young Orchid Foundation. The team which looks after this unique attraction is truly passionate about orchids, and they use their expertise to create hybrid variations of these beautiful flowers. Explore the gardens at your own pace.
Relax and enjoy your picnic in the grounds of the centre. If you didn’t bring any food along, the centre has a cafe which serves drinks and snacks.
