Dive into the flavours of Jersey
Enjoy a lazy breakfast at your accommodation before heading out on a ‘Flavours of Jersey’ tour. The knowledgeable and passionate Jersey Uncovered team will show you how and where Jersey’s food and drink is made by taking you on a tour reflective of the season, which may incorporate the most fabulous Jersey “Farm” “Grape, Apple and Grain” or “Sea” experiences.
The “Farm” experience involves dipping behind the scenes of a local, family-run dairy farm, where creamy Jersey milk is transformed into delicious dairy products, all available to taste in the farm shop café.
The “Grape, Apple and Grain” element of the tour will involve wandering around Jersey’s own vineyard learning how the local wine and apple brandy are produced and most importantly sampling both amongst the orchards and gardens.
Discover a family run fishery, housed in a World War Two Occupation bunker, as part of the “Sea” tour. As the name suggests, seafood such as the famous Jersey oyster or local scallops will feature, with the chance to savour them in the most stunning beach setting.
Day 2
A bustling market visit
Today you’ll uncover the flavours of St. Helier’s Central Market, picnic in the park, and enjoy a laid-back dinner with a Spanish twist.
Stroll through St. Helier to the Victorian-era Central Market, which slowly comes to life as the morning unfolds. This historical building is home to a plethora of locally-run businesses, including Red Triangle, which is likely the oldest shop in Jersey!
Grab a seat at La Bouche (if you enjoy people-watching, we’d recommend one of their al fresco tables!) and tuck into a hearty breakfast. Wander the shops and stalls, keeping an eye out for local and continental produce that you can use to create your perfect picnic lunch.
Pick up seasonal fruits at a greengrocer, a fresh baguette at Vienna Bakery, and for a taste of the continent, you’ll find over 100 cheeses at Relish Delicatessen. Fill your tote bag with all the market treats your heart desires…
If spending the morning at a historic market has given you an appetite for history, your next stop should be Jersey Museum. It’s free to enter, and their flagship exhibition, La Tèrr’rie d’Jèrri, spans thousands of years’ worth of significant moments in Jersey.
For such a tiny island, Jersey packs a huge punch when it comes to unique heritage! After exploring the museum, stop for a refreshment at The Yard, a friendly onsite coffee shop.
It’s picnic time. Howard Davis Park is within walking distance of the centre of St. Helier and is the perfect spot to enjoy the goodies you bought at the market. This beautiful park has a history all of its own; take some time to explore its lush flower gardens and wide-open spaces and feel enveloped in a sense of calm.
After lunch, take a walk down St. Helier’s high street and indulge in some retail therapy at local boutiques and iconic department stores.
For dinner, give Sangria a try. It’s a Spanish restaurant nestled in St. Helier’s Royal Square, with al fresco seating to give a continental feel. Their authentic tapas and carefully sourced wines pair beautifully with the restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere. Tuck in!

Day 3
Get a taste for medieval Jersey
Being Jersey’s capital, St. Helier is well-connected to all corners of the island. Today you’ll travel by bus to Gorey on the east coast, for a taste of medieval Jersey – and you’ll enjoy plenty of amazing food along the way.
Head to Liberation Station and hop on the bus to Gorey Pier. On your journey, you’ll get to see huge stretches of Jersey’s impressive coastline.
Alight at Gorey Village. It’s a short walk into the village itself, but you’ll be rewarded with a delicious breakfast at Veranda, a friendly neighbourhood spot which serves great coffee and homemade baked goods.
After breakfast, have a wander around the village, or walk back towards the main road and in the direction of Gorey Pier. Stroll along the promenade – if you can see the castle, you’re heading the right way!
Once you’ve reached Gorey Pier, tackle the steps leading up to the majestic Mont Orgueil. This medieval castle is one of the best preserved of its kind and is just waiting for you to explore.
Exploring medieval castles is hungry work. Thankfully, there are several restaurants sitting pretty around Gorey Harbour that’ll dish up an excellent lunch made with local ingredients. Try Maddie’s at The Moorings, Feast, or The Dolphin, to name just a few. For a lighter bite, Seahorse Coffee Co. Is well worth a visit.
Take a walk along the Royal Bay of Grouville, also known as Long Beach, perhaps stopping to relax for a little while. Once you’ve had your fill of sea air and golden sand, take the bus back towards St. Helier.
If any spots along the coast caught your eye on the outbound journey, why not hop off and explore further? There are plenty of pubs and kiosks where you can enjoy a light dinner, if you’re feeling peckish.

Day 4
Exploring and foraging in St. Ouen's Bay
Looking to feed your sense of adventure? Today you’ll go foraging in the wild west with a local expert, soak up beachy vibes along St. Ouen’s Bay, and tuck into wood-fired delights for dinner.
Jersey’s natural landscapes are home to a whole host of edible treasures – you just need to know where to look for them! Join Kazz Padidar for a Wild Adventures foraging experience in St. Ouen, where you’ll learn about Jersey’s edible and medicinal plants and meet lots of wildlife along the way.
If the coast is calling, perhaps you’d prefer a coastal forage; Kazz will help you track down edible plants, seaweeds and shellfish, and you’ll even be able to cook your finds.
In the afternoon, stroll the sweeping expanse of St. Ouen’s Bay. You’re sure to meet plenty of surfers, this being the home of one of Europe’s oldest surfing clubs. Stop for refreshments at one of the beachside restaurants.
Once you’re back in St. Helier, visit Pêtchi for an unforgettable meal which celebrates the very best of land and sea. Pêtchi is a modern interpretation of a wood-fired grill restaurant, where local produce is cooked to perfection in a fun, relaxed setting. Bouan appétit!
Day 5
Indulge yourself and enjoy a picturesque harbour town
A day dedicated to the sweeter things in life.
Have you ever wanted to make your own chocolate? Evelyn Day invites you to the Chocadyllic studio, a place where chocolate is truly an art form. Join one of her chocolate-making workshops and learn how to make sumptuous truffles as well as your very own Jersey-shaped chocolate bar. Your creations will make the perfect gift to take home, if you can resist the chocolatey temptation…
If that wasn’t enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, your next port of call should be Flour Patisserie, an ever-so-instagrammable spot in the heart of St. Helier. Their cupcake counter is the thing of dreams, and they have an extensive menu of sweet treats too. They also serve an array of savoury goodies, so there really is something for everyone!
This evening, head out to the pretty harbour village of St. Aubin. There are a number of excellent restaurants to choose from, covering a range of cuisines.

Day 6
A relaxing day in the countryside
Start the day a little later and give yourself chance to recharge. Use the afternoon to immerse yourself in nature and unwind at a quintessential country pub.
After a well-earned lie-in, travel to St. Peter’s Valley, an idyllic spot in the west of the island. Wildlife thrives in its woodland, and a variety of beautiful wildflowers flourish all around.
Stroll around the valley at your own pace, taking in all the delightful sights and sounds. Stop at Le Moulin de Quétivel, Jersey’s only surviving working watermill, and learn about the island’s fascinating milling history.
Have a pub lunch at The Victoria, known locally as The Vic In The Valley. As the name suggests, this pub is located right in St. Peter’s Valley, making it the ideal rest stop after your walk.
Get behind the scenes at a Michelin Star kitchen! Bohemia at The Club Hotel & Spa is Jersey’s only Michelin Star restaurant, and their special tour comprises a sneak peek at their kitchen, wine tasting, and canapes. This is a real luxury experience that any seasoned foodie or budding sommelier is bound to enjoy.
