About

Originally a farm, Le Coin dates back in part to the early 17th Century. The main house was built in 1760 by Brelade Janvrin, a wealthy shipowner. The five acre garden is modelled on those of Monserrate in Portugal. It is open by kind permission of the family of the late Lady Cook in aid of JAYF (Jersey Association for Youth and Friendship). Delicious Jersey cream teas will be served on the lawn. Admission £4; Children under 12 free. All proceeds to JAYF.
