Pirates, Smuggling, Religion & Privateering
St. Helier Walks
Step back in time on a guided walk through the historic port village of St Aubin, once Jersey’s principal harbour and a place shaped by the sea, secrecy, and survival. Its narrow streets and harbour-side hide tales of pirates, smugglers, religion and the bold exploits of royal-sanctioned privateers who blurred the line between hero and outlaw. Was this ever a sleepy port? As we wander through the old fishing village, you can decide for yourself.
