Bimble, or gently stroll, into the rocky intertidal zone and immerse yourself in the beautiful natural environment. These guided walks are suitable for adults and children* who are interested in exploring at the beach and will take place at different locations around the island. These walks aim to introduce participants to some of the amazing creatures who have adapted to living in and out of the sea, by exploring some of the shallow tidal pools around low tide. Jersey has one of the largest tidal ranges in the world, and as the tide falls large areas of the sea bed become exposed, allowing us to discover some of the marine life that would otherwise by covered by the sea.
Wellies are recommended, especially during the cooler months. Adult sized wellies and waterproofs are available free of charge and these must be reserved during the booking process. Please check online for further information about the walks and to make bookings.

These walks take place in the rocky intertidal zone, and require participants to be able to walk on sand, gravel and through water. There may be rocks and slippery seaweed. The ground surface may be uneven and or unstable. Please contact me directly if you have any relevant questions.
