What is the Super League Triathlon?
Pitting the world’s best triathletes across unique short course formats for big prize money in a closed league series, Super League Triathlon provides pulse-pounding action, superstars to root for, and a spectator experience without parallel.
Super League Triathlon features action-packed racing formats in dramatic locations and fan-friendly courses across Asia-Pacific and the Gulf.
When does the event take place?
Day 1 Saturday 23 September: Is the Triple Mix event which tests the versatility and adaptability of athletes by throwing the traditional swim-bike-run sequence out the window with a ten-minute break between stages from when the round winner crosses the line. Athletes complete three stages of all three disciplines with a ten-minute break between stages.
Day 2 Sunday 24 September: Is the Eliminator round is survival of the fastest. Speed and stamina combine in a pressure-cooker race format where field position is key. The Eliminator format comprises three Stages of swim-bike-run with a 10-minute break between each Stage. The 10-minute break commences when the winner of the preceding round crosses the finish line. This means every athlete behind the Stage winner has less than 10 minutes to recover! After each Stage, athletes who finish below a certain threshold are eliminated.
Where can I watch?
Jersey's Elizabeth Marina, has space to host the swim, bike, run elements of triathlon which make it the one stop spot amphitheatre for spectators trying to capture the action. There will also be a fan zone on the grass outside Castle Quay with food, entertainment, a merchandise tent and a big screen tv to watch all the action live. Or head into the arena and watch the race from the Pier adjacent to Elizabeth Marina to be right in the action!
You'll also have the option to grab a bite to eat from the food zone outside the Freedom Tree in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel.
