Visit Jersey M&S Competition

1. The Promoter

The Promoter is Visit Jersey Limited, a company registered in Jersey with company number 116716, whose registered office is at Commercial House, 3 Commercial Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3RU (“Visit Jersey”). M&S Food is the prize sponsor only and has no administrative role in the Competition.

2. Platform Disclaimer

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Any questions, comments, or complaints relating to this Competition should be directed to Visit Jersey and not to Instagram or Meta. By participating, entrants release Instagram and Meta from any and all liability arising in connection with this Competition.

3. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
• The Competition is not open to employees of Visit Jersey, M&S Food, their respective families, agents, or any person professionally connected with the Competition.
• No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups, or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
• No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

4. How to Enter

• The Competition is hosted on Visit Jersey’s official Instagram account.
• To enter, participants must complete all four of the following actions on the Competition post during the Promotional Period: (1) Like the post; (2) Comment on the post; (3) Share the post to their Instagram Story; and (4) Follow Visit Jersey’s Instagram account.
• Once all four actions have been completed, the entrant will automatically be entered into the free prize draw.
• Each person may submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
• Visit Jersey accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, or not received for any reason.

5. Promotional Period

The Competition opens on 12 May 2026 and closes on 1 June 2026 at 23:00 BST (the “Promotional Period”). No entries received after the closing date and time will be accepted.

6. First Prize

• The first prize is a two-night break for two people to Jersey, staying at the Hotel Cristina (www.cristinajersey.com), in any room up to and including a Sea View and Balcony room (which includes inland rooms), inclusive of breakfast, with a £200 food and drink credit to be used at the hotel during the stay and an M&S Hamper.
• The £200 food and drink credit may also be used at other properties within the Dolan Hotel Group (www.dolanhotels.com) but only during the prize stay period. Any unused credit will lapse at the end of the stay and cannot be carried forward or redeemed outside of the stay dates.
• The prize includes return flights for two people from one of the following airports: London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton, Liverpool, Manchester, or Glasgow, with standard cabin baggage included. The winner should contact Visit Jersey on confirmation of their prize to arrange flights. Specific airline availability is subject to change; Visit Jersey reserves the right to substitute equivalent flights of equal or greater value.
• Extra nights, extra rooms, or room upgrades above the Sea View and Balcony category may be purchased directly with the hotel at the prevailing rate for the dates chosen.
• The prize must be booked directly with the Hotel Cristina and is valid for travel between 15 June 2026 and 11 October 2026, in line with the Hotel Cristina’s 2026 season. The prize is not valid beyond this date.
• The M&S hamper will be delivered to the winner’s chosen address.
• The prize, including travel and accommodation, is subject to availability at the time of booking. There is no cash alternative to the prize. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for alternative dates or properties outside the Dolan Hotel Group. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the whole or any part of the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Second Prize

The second prize is an M&S gift voucher to the value of £500. There is no cash alternative and the voucher is non-transferable.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period. The draw will take place within 14 days of the Competition closing date.
• Winners will be notified by direct message on Instagram within 14 days of the closing date.
• Winners must respond to claim their prize within 14 days of notification. If a prize is not claimed within this period, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
• The winner’s name and country of residence will be made available on request, subject to the winner’s express consent, for a period of 28 days after the published closing date. Requests should be made in writing to Visit Jersey Limited, Commercial House, 3 Commercial Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3RU. No communications or correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of winners.

9. User-Generated Content

• Any content submitted or shared as part of this Competition, including content tagged #JerseyCI, must be suitable for display and publication online. It must not be obscene, indecent, defamatory, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
• Submitted content must not contain any copyrighted material other than content owned by the entrant. If an entrant submits content that includes material in which rights are owned by a third party (including intellectual property rights such as copyright or trademarks), the entrant will be solely responsible for any legal action that party may take against them. Visit Jersey accepts no liability in this regard.

10. Publicity

Entrants may be invited to participate in publicity arising from this Competition. Participation in any publicity is voluntary and will only take place with the entrant’s express written consent.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

• By entering the Competition, entrants consent to their personal data being processed by Visit Jersey for the purposes of administering the Competition and, where applicable, arranging the prize.
• Personal data will be processed in accordance with Visit Jersey’s Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. Where entrants are UK residents, data will also be processed in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) as applicable.
• Entrants have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting Visit Jersey’s Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
• Personal data will not be retained beyond the period necessary for the administration of the Competition and any applicable legal obligations.
• Visit Jersey’s Privacy Policy is available at jersey.com.

12. General

• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition or these terms and conditions in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: war, civil or military disturbance, epidemic, pandemic, act of God, act of Government, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation. Any such changes will be communicated to entrants as soon as reasonably practicable.
• This Competition is administered solely by Visit Jersey Limited. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any other organisation, including M&S plc or any of its subsidiaries, except that M&S Food has provided the second prize.
• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Jersey. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Jersey courts, save that nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the statutory rights of consumers under applicable UK law.
• All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any promotional materials, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
