North

Jersey beaches in the north

Jersey’s wild north coast is a playground of adventure, where rugged cliffs tumble into sheltered bays. Explore Plémont Bay’s enchanting caves and hidden coves, where the tide reveals nature’s hidden wonders. Or venture to Grève de Lecq, a firm family favourite with rocks to climb, pools to search and a sea that’s never too far out. Jersey’s north coast is waiting to be explored.

East

Jersey beaches in the east

The east of the island is where the sun rises above the French coastline, giving life to land and sea. With a range of beaches, harbours and ancient castles, the island’s east coast can be the ideal location to base yourself during your stay.

Long stretches of fine golden sand, pebbled coves and tiny fishing harbours jutting out into turquoise waters; Jersey’s east coast is a beautiful corner of the island. From here you can take in a cloudless view over the French coast on a good day.  It even has a lunar landscape at low-tide, that has to be seen to be believed.

South

Jersey beaches in the south

Serene, sloping beaches with silky smooth sand make up the southern shores, with fun family activities and safe swimming. The crescent of St. Aubin’s Bay spans from St. Helier town centre to the fishing village of St. Aubin. Explore the length of this golden stretch of sand and find the perfect place to unwind.

St. Brelade’s Bay is loved by locals and visitors for its golden sand and safe swimming. On the doorstep of the island’s capital, St. Helier, Jersey’s southern bays make for easy access. Head out south to the promenades of St. Aubin’s Bay, explore the hidden gem of Belcroute Bay or take a short walk out of town to Jersey’s Victorian jewel “The Lido at Harve des Pas”.

West

Jersey beaches in the west

Jersey’s west is a landscape of sweeping golden shores, crashing surf and grassy dunes.  If you seek adventure you will find it all here – windswept walks, refreshing swims and awesome swell.  Bask on sun-soaked slopes or hire a VW campervan for the day and BBQ like a beach bum.

St. Ouen’s Bay

With its sun-kissed headland and soft sandy beaches, Jersey’s western shoreline offers up some of the island’s most magical locations. Taking up the west coast of the island, the long stretch of St. Ouen’s Bay has views over the Atlantic Ocean, making this expansive beach one of Jersey’s most iconic.
