Green Island
A local’s favourite, this sheltered south-facing beach is a real sun trap where soft sand, rock climbing and rock pool adventure awaits. The tide goes out a long way, so take care with the swift incoming tide and pick times close to high water to enjoy swimming or paddling. Burrowed on Jersey’s south coast, Green Island captures the sun perfectly.

This charming south facing hotel which is currently the most southerly in Jersey is run by the Pinto family. It is situated in an enviable position overlooking St. Clement's Bay, just a stones throw away from Pontac slipway. At high tide the sea itself is sometimes only fifty feet from the hotel's front gate.
Samarès Manor Self-Catering Apartments & Cottages
Three cottages (The Coach House, The Forge and The Barn) and three farmhouse apartments have been tastefully converted from the 19th century farm buildings within Samarès Manor's courtyard. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and there is access to the Botanic Gardens and the Cocorico Café.
Hotel Ambassadeur
Welcome to The Hotel Ambassadeur, the largest most southerly hotel in the British Isles. The Ambassadeur is an independently run hotel that has been welcoming tourists and locals alike, for over 20 years under the same ownership.
More Information
The smooth sands scattered with rocks are perfect for little ones who want to clamber and play, and it’s a great place for rock pooling. Green Island is named after the grassy rock of ‘La Motte’ which is just a hop, skip and a jump away at low tide. The mound is stranded from the shore at high tide, so be sure to time your beach adventure just right. The beach also enjoys the distinction of being the southernmost point of the British Isles.
