There's more to discover (admission prices apply) at the Museum as you explore Jersey's history from 250,000 years ago when the first people arrived in Jersey and continues through the centuries.

In our Story of Jersey display you'll discover Jersey's history from 250,000 years ago to modern day. Including; Jersey’s link with the English Crown; Jèrriais (Jersey-French) the traditional language; the Island's traditional farming industry, and archive footage of the early years of tourism.
Visit the People Make Jersey exhibition on the 2nd floor. Also included part of your entry fee you can visit the beautifully restored Victorian House and and find out about the Merchant family who used to live there.

Renowned Victorian Photographer CR Kennedy and his good lady wife invite you to the Victorian House at Jersey Museum to sit for a studio photograph. Come in your own Victorian attire, or select an outfit from our wardrobe, and leave with a unique souvenir Carte-de-Visite portrait photograph.
