More Information
Feel the history as you explore the main passage that leads into an oval chamber with four internal cells. Uncovered by stone quarriers in 1848, this passage grave contained various historical artefacts, such as burnt bone, fragments of decorated pottery, polished stone axes and stone pendants. Over the years this Neolithic passage grave has been damaged by quarrymen and used as a rubbish dump and a pigsty! However, it’s still well worth a visit to see the preserved Neolithic passage grave that is around 6,000 years old. You can find the site just a 100 metre walk from La Rue de la Blinerie in St. Clement.
