More Information
In her solo show artist Nina Zaech shares a very personal journey between the physical world and her imagination, turning deep memories of nature and everyday materials into clean, optical artwork. Growing up surrounded by the mountains in Switzerland and now spending time among the coastal rocks in Jersey, Nina feels truly grounded whenever she touches rock and moves through the landscape.
For her, matter isn't just about geology. It’s also about the feel of everyday things like clay, food, dough, and the human body—their weight, softness, and texture. From the Deep to the Shallow is about bringing memories, feelings, and roots up to the surface, transforming those 3D sensations into simple lines, shapes, light, and colour.
