Garden Railway Open Day
The HSBA Garden Railway is a G-Scale garden layout based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Over 138m (455ft) of track navigate through tunnels, over bridges and past the pond in a garden in the parish of St. Mary. A few times a year we open the garden gate to visit the minature world! All proceeds from the day go to a local Jersey charity.

Our volunteers will be running multiple trains throughout the day – like the real thing, some will be waiting in stations for others to pass. Our locos feature lights, sound and smoke to add to the atmosphere! They disappear off over bridges and through the tunnels. Our visitors are welcome to stay as long as they like and enjoy the layout as much as we do.
Alongside this, there will be:
🚂 Guest appearances from Thomas and some of his friends!
🚂 At the entrance will be a small layout for the kids (big and small!) to play with
🚂 A scavenger hunt scouring the details of the layout with a sweet treat for those completing
🚂 A cafe with snacks and refreshments
🚂 Seating to take a rest and watch the trains (and the kids) go round
