More Information
Join Geopark Guide, Jean Treleven, to explore the beauty of Anneport’s explosive volcanic rocks including Jersey’s answer to the Giant’s Causeway. See the towers built to defend the Island against a French enemy and the sites that provided a refuge for French exiles during the turbulent period of their Revolution and Napoleonic wars. Learn about the Neanderthal people who hunted in an ice age landscape ‘behind Gorey castle’ and the Neolithic farmers who built La Pouquelaye de Faldouet and lived in a landscape that included much of the Royal Bay of Grouville.
