More Information
This unique Regency Greek revival villa was built in 1809 by a leading Jersey merchant, whose ships were engaged in the cod trade between Newfoundland and Brazil. The lawn below the house has a view to the extensive garden of island beds, framed by a massive pair of Canary Island Date Palms. The immaculate walled garden leads onto further exotic plants, trees and secret garden areas. A rare chance to visit this green oasis usually hidden by towering Pines, Evergreen Oak, Arbutus, Camellia and the oldest and largest Black Poplar in Jersey, still standing though decades of storms!
