Jersey Symphony Orchestra: Symphonic Sensations

Andrew Morley returns to Jersey as guest conductor for Jersey Symphony’s Spring Concert, Symphonic Sensations. A graduate of Trinity College of Music, Andrew has collaborated with distinguished soloists and orchestras throughout his career.

The evening opens with Sibelius’ Saga, followed by our guest soloist, Nicola Hands, performing the Ruth Gipps Oboe Concerto. Nicola trained at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction on oboe and cor anglais, and has performed both instruments with many renowned orchestras. The second half features Schumann’s Spring Symphony, with the Orchestra led, as always, by Martin Smith.
