JFoW | Canvassed Stories: Live Creative Collab

Jersey writers will be challenged to take part in a live creative collaboration with Jason Butler, a leading island artist. Contributors will be invited to respond in poetry or prose to the small display of his work from an ongoing series of paintings and drawings (which will form part of a large-scale exhibition) and ultimately share their pieces.

More Information

It feels very fitting to be collaborating with the literary festival again having done so during my exhibition ‘Seekers’ in 2016. My latest work is exploring similar themes to ‘Seekers’. Much has changed in the world since then but if anything, the ideas and subject matter from that show feel more relevant to me than ever.’ Jason Butler
