Liberation 80 promises to be a momentous occasion in Jersey, marking 80 years since the island's liberation from German occupation during WW2. As part of the celebrations, Dancing in Jersey will take centre stage, bringing the community together through music, movement, and shared history, from lively social dances to nostalgic performances.

📅 8-12 May: Awesome Jersey danceXplosion Line Dance Holiday at the Merton Hotel with a pre-event dance party, four social evenings, and workshops (£229pp for 2 nights, £70 per extra night)
📅 9 May (Day): Free dancing performances and social dancing at Weighbridge Place
📅 9th May (Night): Lindy Hop Jersey’s evening dance at the Pomme d’Or Hotel (Free)
📅 10 May (Day): Beaches & Bunkers sightseeing tour with Lindy Hop Jersey (£40)
📅 10 May (Night): Liberation Dinner & Dance at Best Western Royal (£55) or Jersey Ballroom Social Dance at St. Lawrence Parish Hall (£4-5)
📅 11 May: Afternoon Tea Dance at St. Ouen’s Parish Hall with live music from the Jersey Big Band (£15)
