St. Ouen’s Bay provides the perfect natural arena for one of Jersey’s most exciting motorsport spectacles. Sand Racing brings motorcycles, cars and buggies together on a purpose-built beach course, where power, precision and endurance are put to the test.

Unlike traditional race circuits, the constantly shifting sand creates ever-changing conditions, challenging competitors on every lap. Natural dunes, wide open straights and constructed jumps combine to deliver fast-paced, unpredictable racing in a truly unique environment. Events are run in a scramble-style format, with riders and drivers completing multiple laps around the circuit.
Organised by the Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Club, the meeting includes Junior and Senior motorcycle classes, as well as Production cars competing in 1300cc, 1600cc and 2000cc categories.
With panoramic views across Jersey’s west coast and action unfolding across the sands, Sand Racing offers a thrilling day out for spectators and competitors alike.
