Pilgrims are invited to gather at the Town Church at 07:30, with the walk to Elizabeth Castle departing promptly at 07:45. On arrival at the Castle by 08:30, a short service will be held in the Courtyard, followed by a wreath-laying at the Hermitage, commemorating Saint Helier’s life and sacrifice. The group will depart the Hermitage at 09:15 to return to the Town Church, where bacon rolls will be served from 10:00.
For those unable to participate in the walk, a limited number of spaces are available on the Castle Ferry, departing from the Castle Kiosk at 08:00 and returning at 09:30. To reserve a place on the ferry, please contact Elise Wetherall at [email protected].
