The Royal Bay of Grouville
The Royal Bay of Grouville, known to locals as Long Beach, has a long stretch of soft golden sand with calm sheltered waters perfect for swimming. You can enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, banana boat rides and even hire a motor dinghy in summer. Young families will love this friendly beach nestled near the sleepy Gorey Village.

There is easy parking close by and regular public buses, cafés and kiosks to enjoy a Jersey Dairy ice cream and even a beachside playground on a soft bed of sand. The northern end of the beach borders Gorey Harbour and village, overlooked by the magnificent 13th century Mont Orgueil Castle, featuring an array of popular restaurants, pubs, local shops and boutiques.

There is a sandy walkway that leads to the beach, which most wheelchairs will struggle to access. Local charity BeachAbility offer manual, ballooned wheelchairs for use on the beach. The storage unit is located in Long Beach carpark at the end, next to accessible parking spaces.
